Have a look at your to do list and decide if the things on it are urgent or important. Schedule some time to focus on the important to-do’s not just urgent to-do’s.

Important vs Urgent Matrix

If you look at your To Do list you can probably categorise your tasks into quadrants 1. Important and Urgent or 2: Important not Urgent. Scheduled time to do make progress on tasks in quadrant 2: Important not Urgent. Making progress on these tasks, that help improve future, will be motivating and help increase your energy and focus. See if you can reduce the Not Important but Urgent tasks in quadrant 3. Try to eliminate tasks in quadrant 4.
